Our artisan partner and master carver created these stunning shapes to bring out the hidden color banding in this precious rainbow obsidian - cooled volcanic glass showcasing a range of colors rivaling the most vivid rainbow you've seen! His grandfather owned the mine that he and his father now work together, never having discovered the glassy treasure until recently under the management of this talented artist! (Please be mindful of the fact that rainbow obsidian will appear dark grey to black in dim or diffuse light. It requires brighter, or more focused light, to reveal its true colors!)
